Purpose and Data Retention

In compliance with data protection legislation (Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003), OrienTales guarantees that data collection and subsequent processing are carried out within the scope of its institutional functions.

Data Processing

Data processing, regardless of the method used (manual or automated), includes—according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data—the following operations: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, restriction, dissemination, communication, deletion, and destruction of data.
Processing is carried out for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed.

Data Subject Rights

Within the safeguards granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the data subject has the right to:
  • know whether personal data concerning them exist and their origin;
  • be informed by the data controller about the purposes and methods of processing;
  • obtain from the data controller the updating, rectification, and/or integration of their data;
  • object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning them;
  • request the restriction of processing if a violation of the law is identified.
